TOP-TOY at the forefront with Univeyor
Service Management TOP-TOY has
chosen to outsource the entire maintenance support to Univeyor,
following more than 5 years of cooperation on a traditional
maintenance- and hotline based agreement.
TOP-TOY has entered into a Full Service Management agreement
with Univeyor. The agreement is a fixed-price agreement, which
includes Univeyor’s site based technicians and an on-site supply
of spares. Attendance of the system is based on the operational
hours, which fluctuate from 8-hours a day on weekdays to around
the clock operations, 7-days a week during the peak season.
The service technicians are responsible for the operation of the
system. Being based on-site they carry out regular preventive
maintenance, ordering spares and are immediately on hand should
there be a breakdown. The advantage of having site-based
technicians is that they are trained in both TOP-TOY’s operational
requirement and Univeyor’s technology, which is being constantly
improved and developed, resulting in continuous leading-edge
technology.
Univeyor implemented a maintenance system to support the daily
upkeep and a SCADA monitoring system for fault-finding etc. The
maintenance system is used for the planning and reporting of all
maintenance tasks, stating procedure, spares, frequency etc.
Univeyor is experiencing an increasing demand for Service
Management agreements. “Our system is an essential part of our
customers’ logistics, and its availability is of paramount
importance. The Univeyor Service Management Agreements offer our
customers both optimum maintenance and availability”, says
Service Manager Ejnar Siig Christensen. |
