Univeyor ready for face-off at CeMAT 2008

From 27 until 31 May 2008, Univeyor will be exhibiting at Europe’s leading fair for intralogistics, CeMAT 2008 in Hannover, where we will show two of our innovative machines for intelligent logistics and efficiency improvement in warehouses – both being exciting features for material handling, working either as stand-alone machines or as part of a total system solution.

Empticon - automatic container unloading
At CeMAT 2008 visitors on Stand E31 in Hall 27 get a chance to see Univeyor’s newly developed container unloading machine, Empticon®, in operation at a one-to-one ratio. This will be the first time the Empticon is demonstrated at a fair, and Univeyor is looking very much forward to showing the visitors the easy and ergonomically correct way for one man to unload a freight container full of cartons, without lifting as much as one carton himself.

Univeyor Layer Picker
The other innovative machine presented at the fair is the thoroughly tested and improved Layer Picker®, which automatically removes layers of goods from pallets and creates new layers on pallets at a pace that revolutionizes the flow in most warehouse and distribution centres, and which is capable of handling articles of different sizes, weights and shapes – even with voids in layers. The Layer Picker is a very efficient and economic solution, which eliminates several time-consuming, manual processes, thus improving the stability and increasing the pace, without compromising the safety.

Univeyor emphasizes the careful analysis of each customer’s need, whether this is for a complete solution or small update. Therefore, even though we bring our two newest machines to the fair, we will be at your service at CeMat 2008 to have a talk about all kinds of logistics- and material handling solutions. We have customers within a wide variety of industries, and we are constantly challenged to innovate and find new solutions. We have no standard solutions – only customised solutions based on well-proven standard products such as the Empticon and the Layer Picker.
